NATURE IN FOCUS

Flight

Tips

Always carry your camera.
Use your field skills, know your camera.
I tend to use the sigma 500mm vibration reduction, or the sigma 800mm on a tripod.
Pick up the bird as early as possible, so your camera can lock on.
Use aperture priority.
speed should be at least 1/1250 second.
up the ISO if need be (noise can be sorted out later).
use continious auto focus.
use centre focus or max point focus which ever suits.
keep on max frames per second.
keep on taking the photo's, digital doesn't cost anything as you can delete later.
